For to the man who pleases him God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy; but to the sinner he gives the work of gathering and heaping, only to give to one who pleases God.
Ecclesiastes 2:26 RSV
Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD,
and find the knowledge of God.
For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth
cometh knowledge and understanding.
He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous:
he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
Proverbs 2:5-7 KJV
Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being,
And in the hidden part You will make me know wisdom.
